Sindhu Nair is a dentist turned cancer biologist who has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA, and a Master’s degree in dentistry from India.
Her dissertation work involved understanding how alternative splicing of proteins impacted brain tumor progression. As a postdoctoral fellow, her current research involves discovering novel chemotherapeutic combinations in pancreatic cancer.
