ICS Perm/Wash Buffer allows access to intracellular targets such as cytokines and cytoplasmic proteins which require permeabilization of the cell membrane after fixation. This permeabilization buffer has minimal effect on cell morphology and is supplied as a 10x solution for dilution in water. It can also be used as a wash buffer during intracellular staining and to dilute antibodies during intracellular staining to help minimize background staining. ICS Perm/Wash buffer can also be used as a wash buffer during intracellular staining and to dilute antibodies during intracellular staining to help reduce background staining.
- Product Form
- 10x concentrate - liquid
- Store at +4oC. DO NOT FREEZE.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Crystallization may occur at the reccomended storage conditions, this is normal and does not affect buffer performance. If crystallization remains after dilution to 1X soluiton, the buffer can be filtered
- Guaranteed until date of expiry. Please see product label.

Applications of Ics Perm/Wash Buffer
Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
- Instructions For Use
- 1. Dilute the ICS Perm/Wash Buffer (10x) to a 1x working concentration using DI water
2. Resuspend fixed cells in ICS Perm/Wash buffer (1x)
3. Centrifuge cells at 350 g for 5-10 min. Repeat twice
4. Stain cells for intracellular targets
It is recomended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
