    • Rabbit anti Metabotropic Glutamate Rreceptor 2/3 antibody recognizes the C-terminus of the metabotropic glutamate receptors mGluR2 and mGluR3. There is also a very slight reaction with mGluR5.

The immunogen sequence used to generate this antibody is highly conserved and cross-reactivity with other species can be expected.

    • Product Form
      Purified IgG - Lyophilized
    • Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 500 ul distilled water
Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.
    • Preparation
    • Antiserum Preparation
Rabbit anti Metabotropic glutamate Rreceptor 2/3 antibody was prepared following hyperimmunization of rabbits with the immunizing peptide. The antiserum was purified by affinity chromatography against the immunizing peptide.
    • Preservative Stabilisers
      1% Bovine Serum Albumin
    • Immunogen
Peptide with the sequence NGREVVDSTTSSL corresponding to the carboxy terminus of rat GluR2 conjugated to Bovine Serum Albumin.
