Recombinant Human inhibin beta A is a single monomeric non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 116 amino acid fragment corresponding to residues 311-426 of the inhibin beta A (INHBA) subunit.

INHBA is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta family which, in combination with the alpha subunit, forms an inhibitor of pituitary follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) secretion, and when combined with itself or the beta B subunit, forms the FSH secretion stimulators Activin A and Activin AB respectively.
