Sandwich ELISA analysis of Human G-CSG using Rat anti human G-CSF (1012701) as a capture reagent and biotinylated Rat anti Human G-CSF (1012808) as a detection reagent with recombinant human G-CSF (PHP082B) as target antigen. Detection is by HRP conjugated streptavidin and substrate. Microtitre plate is read at O.D. 450 nm on the Bio-Rad iMark Microplate Absorbance Reader (Bio-Rad Catalog 168-1135). Human serum (orange) and plasma (green) samples are tested undiluted.

Recombinant Human G-CSF is purified E.coli expressed recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF). Granulocyte CSF is produced by monocytes and fibroblasts. It stimulates granulocyte colony formation, activates neutrophils and differentiates certain myeloid leukemic cells. Human and Murine G-CSF share approximately 75% amino acid sequence homology and have biological cross-reactivity.

Reconstitute with 100 ul distilled water. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
