| Sheep anti Bovine asialofetuin antibody recognizes bovine Alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein, also known as asialofetuin or fetuin-A. Asialofetuin is a 359 amino acid ~55kDa secreted glycoprotein containing two fetuin-A-type dystatin domains. Asialofetuin is produced in the liver and bone marrow and acts as a negative acute-phase protein attenuating the inflammatory response to acute injury (Wang et al. 2010). This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
