Rabbit anti Human TSLP antibody recognizes human TSLP (thymic stromal lymphopoietin), a 132 amino acid secreted haemopoietic cytokine which shares biological properties with interleukin-7 (IL-7), including involvement in B-cell development, and the activation and phosphorylation of STAT3 and STAT5.
TSLP is expressed in the heart, liver and prostate and functions through binding to a receptor complex consisting of the TSLPR (thymic stromal lymphopoietin receptor) and the IL-7R alpha chain. Properties attributed to TSLP include the induction of monocytes to release T cell-attracting chemokines, enhancing the maturation of CD11c(+) dendritic cells and their ability to stimulate T cells, and strong evidence suggests that TSLP plays a pivotal role in allergic immune responses.

Applications of TSLP antibody
|Immunohistology - Paraffin 1
- 1 This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
