| Rabbit anti Human pro-interleukin-33 antibodyrecognises human pro-interleukin-33 (pro-IL-33). Pro-IL-33 is further processed into its mature secreted form, IL-33. IL-33, a cytokine formerly known as NF-HEV or nuclear factor from high endothelieal venules, belongs to the IL-1 super family which signals through interaction with the ST2 and Toll-interleukin 1 (IL-1) receptors, and is known to act as an immunoregulator of T helper 2 (Th2) cell cytokine synthesis. IL-33 is abundantly expressed in high endothelial venules found in tonsils, peyers patches and mesenteric lymph nodes. |

- Antiserum to human pro-interleukin-33 was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
