| Rabbit anti Human PPP1CC antibody recognizes PPP1CC, also known as protein phosphatase 1C catalytic subunit, serine/threonine phosphatase 1 gamma and serine/threonine-protein phosphatase PP1-gamma catalytic subunit. The protein encoded by the PPP1CC gene belongs to the protein phosphatase family, PP1 subfamily. PP1 is an ubiquitous serine/threonine phosphatase that regulates many cellular processes, including cell division. It is expressed in mammalian cells as three closely related isoforms, alpha, beta/delta and gamma, which have distinct localization patterns. PPP1CC encodes the gamma isozyme. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for PPP1CC (provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011). Rabbit anti Human PPP1CC antibody detects a band of 37 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates. |
