Rabbit anti NFkB p100 (pSer870) antibody
recognizes nuclear factor NF-kappa-B p100 subunit (NFkB p100), also known as lymphocyte translocation chromosome 10 protein, nuclear factor Kappa-B subunit 2, nuclear factor of Kappa light chain gene enhancer in B cells 2, oncogene Lyt-10 or transcription factor NFKB2, when phosphorylated at serine 870.
NFkB p100 is a subunit of the NFkB transcription factor complex that is cleaved to form the NFkB p52 subunit. The NFkB pathway plays a critical role in mediating immune responses after infection and has been implicated in a variety of diseases ranging from autoimmune disorders to cancer.
Phosphorylation of NFkB p100 at serine 870 is mediated by MAP3K14 (Xiao et al. 2001

- Antiserum to NFkB p100 (pSer870) was raised by repeated immunization of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
