Rabbit anti MEK 4 (pSer80) antibody
recognizes MAPK/ERK kinase 4 (MEK 4), also known as dual specificity mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 4, MAP kinase kinase 4 (MAPKK 4), stress-activated protein kinase kinase 1 and JNKK, when phosphorylated at serine 80.
MEK 4 is a dual specificity protein kinase and a member of the MAP kinase family. MEK 4 plays a key role in the MAP kinase and SAP/JNK signaling pathways.
MEK 4 is phosphorylated at serine 80 by Akt1, inhibiting the kinase activity of MEK 4 (Song and Lee 2005

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
