| Rabbit anti MEK 2 (pThr394) antibody recognizes MAPK/ERK kinase 2 (MEK 2), also known as dual specificity mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 2, MAP kinase kinase 2 (MAPKK 2) and ERK activator kinase 2, when phosphorylated at threonine 394. MEK 2 is a dual specificity protein kinase and a member of the MAP kinase family. MEK 2 plays a critical role in mitogen growth factor signal transduction. MEK 2 is phosphorylated at threonine 394 by CDK5 (Banks et al. 2015). |
