MEK 1 (pSer221) antibody


MEK 1 is an integral component of the MAP kinase cascade that regulates cell growth and differentiation, and may also play a role in brain synaptic plasticity.
MEK1 is phosphorylated at serine 217 and serine 221 by Raf kinases, increasing MEK1 activity (Matallanas et al. 2011) and subsequently leading to activation of ERK1/2.
