Rabbit anti MDM2 (pSer166) antibody
recognizes MDM2, also known as E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase Mdm2, E3 ubiquitin protein ligase, p53 E3 ubiquitin protein ligase homolog, p53-binding protein Mdm2, when phosphorylated at serine 166. MDM2 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase and a member of the MDM2 protein family. MDM2 is an important negative regulator of the tumor suppressor p53. MDM2 is phosphorylated at serine 166 by Akt, leading to an increase in the E3 ubiquitin ligase activity of MDM2 (Malmlöf et al. 2007

- Antiserum to MDM2 (pSer166) was raised by repeated immunization of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
