MAT2B Isoform 1 antibody
Encoded by the MAT2B gene, this protein belongs to the methionine adenosyltransferase (MAT) family. MAT catalyzes the biosynthesis of S-adenosylmethionine from methionine and ATP. This protein is the regulatory beta subunit of MAT. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms (provided by RefSeq, Nov 2012).
Goat anti Human MAT2B antibody detects a band of 39 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
