Rabbit anti MAPK14 (pThr180/pTyr182) antibody recognizes mitogen-activated protein kinase 14 (MAPK14), also known as cytokine suppressive anti-inflammatory drug-binding protein, MAX-interacting protein 2 or MAP kinase p38 alpha, when phosphorylated at threonine 180 and tyrosine 182.

MAPK14 is a serine threonine kinase and a member of the MAP kinase family. MAPK14 signaling plays a key role in the regulation of multiple processes including cell differentiation and proliferation.

MAPK14 is phosphorylated at threonine 180 and tyrosine 182 by MAP2K3 and MAP2K6. Phosphorylation at threonine 180 and tyrosine 182 activates MAPK14 (Raingeaud et al. 1995).
