Rabbit anti IRF1 antibody recognizes human IRF1, also known as interferon regulatory factor 1. IRF1 is a member of the interferon regulatory transcription factor family. IRF1 can act as a transcriptional activator or repressor. IRF1 binds to an interferon stimulated response element (ISRE) in the promoter of the target gene.
