Rabbit anti heat shock protein 27 (pSer15) antibody recognizes heat shock protein 27 when phosphorylated at serine 15. Heat shock protein 27 is a molecular chaperone protein. HSP27 exerts an anti-apoptotic effect via inhibition of the cytochrome-c/pro-caspase-9 pathway. Phosphorylation of HSP27 at serine 15 occurs via p38 MAPK. Phosphorylation of HSP27 at serine 15 contributes to significant alterations in the protein structure and protein-protein interactions of HSP27.

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
