Rabbit anti FOXO4 (pSer197) antibody recognizes FOXO4, when phosphorylated at serine 197. FOXO4 is a member of the forkhead family of transcription factors. Residue 197 of FOXO4 is phosphorylated by a number of kinases including AKT. Phosphorylation of FOXO4 at serine 197 results in decreased transcriptional activity and export of FOXO4 from the nucleus.
