Goat anti Human FGF 10 antibody
recognizes human FGF 10 (fibroblast growth factor 10), a member of the heparin-binding growth factors family which act as promoters of cellular differentiation and proliferation, and therefore play key roles in embryonic development, morphogenesis, tissue regeneration and tumour growth and invasion.
FGF 10 signals through binding to the FGF Receptor (FGFR) 2b, and has structural and biological activities similar to that of FGF 7. Defects in FGF 10 are responsible for the autosomal dominant disorders known as lacrimo-auriculo-dento-digital syndrome (LADDS

Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.

- 1This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
