Rabbit anti Human FAF2 antibody recognizes Fas associated factor family member 2 (FAF2), also known as ETEA, UBX domain protein 3B or UBX domain containing protein 8.

The protein encoded by this gene is highly expressed in peripheral blood of patients with atopic dermatitis (AD), compared to normal individuals. It may play a role in regulating the resistance to apoptosis that is observed in T cells and eosinophils of AD patients (provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008).

Rabbit anti Human FAF2 antibody detects a band of 53 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
