ELK-1 (pSer383) antibody


ELK-1 is a member of the ternary complex factor (TCF) family of transcription factors, and plays a role in mediating gene expression in response to growth factors.
ELK-1 is phosphorylated at serine 383 and 389 in its C-terminal region by mitogen activated protein (MAP) kinase. Phosphorylation of serine 383 and 389 is important for activation of ELK1 (Li et al. 2003).
