Rabbit anti Human CXADR antibody recognizes the coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor, also known as 46 kD coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor (CAR) protein, HCAR, CVB3-binding protein, HCVADR and coxsackievirus B-adenovirus receptor.

The protein encoded by CXADR is a type I membrane receptor for group B coxsackieviruses and subgroup C adenoviruses. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for CXADR. Pseudogenes of CXADR are found on chromosomes 15, 18, and 21 (provided by RefSeq, May 2011).

Rabbit anti Human CXADR antibody detects bands of 45-55 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
