Chk1 (pSer280) antibody
Chk1 is a serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a crucial role in cell cycle control. Chk1 is involved in triggering cell cycle arrest, DNA repair and apoptosis (Bartek and Lukas 2003).
Chk1 plays a critical role in preventing aberrant cells from progressing through the cell cycle (Thompson and Eastman 2013). Chk1 is phosphorylated at serine 280 by p90 RSK (Li et al. 2012) resulting in nuclear accumulation of Chk1.
