Rabbit anti CD140a (pTyr754)
recognizes the CD140a antigen also known as platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRA), when phosphorylated at tyrosine 754.
CD140a belongs to the tyrosine protein kinase family and plays an important role in embryonic development, the cell cycle and chemotaxis. Phosphorylation at tyrosine 754 mediates activation of specific signal-transducing molecules thus initiating signal-tranduction pathways from the alpha beta receptor heterodimer, which are distinct from those initiated via homodimeric receptor complexes (Rupp et al. 1994

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
