Catenin Delta 1 antibody
Catenin delta 1 is a member of the Armadillo protein family. This family of proteins functions in adhesion between cells and signal transduction. Multiple translation initiation codons and alternative splicing result in many different isoforms being translated, some with undetermined function. Read-through transcription also exists between catenin delta 1 and the neighboring upstream thioredoxin-related transmembrane protein 2 (TMX2) gene (provided by RefSeq, Dec 2010).
Rabbit anti Human catenin delta-1 antibody detects a band of 100 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates.
