Adipor1 antibody

Goat anti ADIPOR1 antibody recognizes an epitope within the N-terminal (NT) region of Adiponectin Receptor protein 1 . AdipoR1 is implicated in metabolic pathways, mediating increased fatty acid oxidation and glucose uptake by adiponectin. The expression of AdipoR1 in adipose tissue is decreased in obese humans, whilst weight loss results in increased expression.
Goat anti ADIPOR1 antibody is reported as suitable for use in immunocytochemistry of acetone fixed cells.
