Mouse anti Pig CD46 antibody, clone JM6C11 recognizes porcine CD46, also known as membrane cofactor protein (MCP). CD46 is a ~45-65 kDa single pass type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein expressed by all peripheral blood cells.
Mouse anti Pig CD46 antibody, clone JM6C11 inhibits functional MCP cofactor activity as measured by inhibition of cleavage of the α chain of C3 (Pérez De La Lastra et al. 1999).

Spleen cells from immunised Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse SP2/0 - Ag14 myeloma cell line
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
