| Rabbit anti Phosphoserine antibody recognises phosphoserine, peptidyl-phosphoserine, and serine-phosphorylated proteins. Rabbit anti Phosphoserine antibody does not cross react with ATP, phosphotyrosine, peptidyl phosphothreonine and serine. Slight cross reactivity with free phosphothreonine is observed. Phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of intracellular proteins occurs in response to extracellular signals. In certain disease states such as cancer, abnormal protein phosphorylation can occur. |
