Indoleamine 2,3-Dioxygenase antibody | 4D2
Mouse anti Human indoleamine 2,5-dioxygenase antibody, clone 4D2 recognizes human Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1, also known IDO-1. IDO-1 is a 403 amino acid ~50 kDa enzyme involved in tryptophan catabolism. IDO-1 is expressed in lymphoid organ dendritic cells and in some epithelial cells. It is not expressed in most tissues but expression is usually inducible by interferon γ (Taylor and Feng 1991).

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

- 1This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
Where this antibody has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the antibody for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
