Hamster anti Human EMR1 antibody, clone A10 recognizes human EMR1 (EGF-like module containing, mucin-like, hormone receptor-like 1). EMR1 is a seven-span transmembrane protein which is a member of the EGF-TM7 family of receptors. EMR1 is the human ortholog of murine F4/80 but unlike F4/80, the expression of EMR1 in humans is restricted to eosinophils and is not expressed on macrophage populations. The detailed structure and function of EMR1 is still unknown. |
