CD50 antibody | Bu65
Mouse anti Human CD50 antibody, clone Bu65 recognizes human CD50, also known as Inter-cellular adhesion molecule-3 (ICAM-3). CD50 is a ~110 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein, expressed mainly on resting leukocytes. It interacts with lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) and DC-SIGN, and is involved in the intercellular adhesion of leukocytes and augments CD3 signalling in T-lymphocyte activation.
CD50 expression induces cancer cell proliferation and over-expression may contribute to cancer progression. It has also been implicated in limiting HIV-1 replication.
