Mouse anti Human CD5 antibody, clone 4C7 recognizes the human CD5 cell surface antigen. CD5 is expressed by mature T lymphocytes and also by a minor subset of normal B lymphocytes.

CD5 expression may be useful in studies of lymphoma classification, being positive in cases of mantle zone lymphoma and B cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia.

Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
