Mouse anti bovine ubiquitin antibody, clone Ubi-1 is specific for ubiquitin an 8.5 kDa, 76 amino acid protein, highly conserved in eukaryotes. Clone Ubi-1 shows staining of tangle material in Alzheimer affected brain, and also stains other pathological inclusions such as Lewy bodies (in Parkinson's disease) and Pick bodies (in Pick's disease).
