Western blotting analysis of Jurkat lysate (35µg protein in RIPA buffer) probed using Goat anti Human SLP-76 antibody (AHP1121) at 0.3μgml-1. Primary incubation was 1 hour. Signal was detected by chemiluminescence.
Goat anti Human SLP-76 antibody recognises the SH2 domain-containing leucocyte protein (SLP-76), a 76 kDa tyrosine phosphoprotein, expressed primarily by T lymphocytes and cells of the myeloid lineage.
SLP-76 is one of several adaptor proteins assisting with TCR-mediated signal transduction, through GRB2 binding, functioning as a substrate for the protein-tyrosine kinase ZAP-70 and thus playing a crucial role in both T cell ontogeny and activation. Other molecules that associate with SLP-76 include phospholipase C (PLC)–gamma, Vav, Nck and fyn binding protein.
Purified IgG - liquid
Antisera to human SLP-76 were raised by repeated immunisations of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Bovine Serum Albumin
Peptide sequence C-ALRNVPFRSEV corresponding to the N-terminus of SLP-76 (NP_005556).
Approx. Protein Concentrations
IgG concentration 0.5 mg/ml
Reagents In The Kit
Preparing The Antibody
TRIS buffered saline
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
This product has been reported to work in the following applications. This information is derived from testing within our laboratories, peer-reviewed publications or personal communications from the originators. Please refer to references indicated for further information. For general protocol recommendations, please visit the antibody protocols page.
Where this antibody has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. It is recommended that the user titrates the antibody for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
Histology Positive Control Tissue
AHP1121 detects a band of approximately 75kDa in Jurkat cell lysates. A minimum incubation time of 1 hour is recommended with this antibody.
