Serpin I1, otherwise known as Neuroserpin, is an axonally secreted serine protease inhibitor and member of the Serpin family, predominantly expressed in the brain, which binds to and inactivates plasminogen activators and plasmin.
The expression of Serpin I1 during the late stages of embryonic neurogenesis, suggests Serpin I1 may play a role in the formation or reorganization of synaptic connections, and is implicated as a regulator of proteases involved in neuronal migration and synaptic plasticity.

Preparing The Antibody
Prior to reconstitution store at +4oC. After reconstitution store at -20oC. For extended storage the addition of 0.1% BSA is recommended. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
