Goat anti Human SEC61A1 antibody recognizes the protein transport protein SEC61 alpha subunit isoform 1 (SEC61A1), a member of the SECY/SEC61-alpha family. SEC61A1 is an integral membrane protein, localized to the endoplasmic reticulum.
Sec61 alpha-1 plays a crucial role in the insertion of secretory and membrane polypeptides into the endoplasmic reticulum (Dudek et al. 2013).
N.B. Antibody reactivity and working conditions may vary between species.
Purified IgG - liquid
Antisera to SEC61A1 were raised by repeated immunisations of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Bovine Serum Albumin
Synthetic peptide KEQSEVGSMGALLF corresponding to the C-terminus of human SEC61A1 (NP_037468).
Approx. Protein Concentrations
IgG concentration 0.5 mg/ml
