Western blotting analysis of human thymus (A) and tonsil (B) lysate (35μg protein in RIPA buffer) probed with Goat anti Human RAC2 antibody (AHP1390) at 0.1μgml-1. Primary incubation was 1 hour. Signal was detected by chemiluminescence
Western blotting of MOLT4 cell lysate (35μg protein in RIPA buffer) probed with Goat anti Human RAC2 antibody (AHP1390) at 0.3μgml-1. Primary incubation was 1 hour. Signal was detected by chemiluminescence
Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin embedded human tonsil probed with Goat anti Human RAC2 antibody (AHP1390) used at 0.3μgml-1 following heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer at pH9.0 demonstrating strong staining in the interfollicular area in A. Higher power of interfollicular area in B
Goat anti Human RAC2 antibody recognizes human Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 2, also known as RAC2, GX, Small G protein or p21-Rac2. RAC2 is a 192 amino acid ~ cytoplasmic GTPase becoming membrane associated when activated.
Mutation of the human RAC2 gene has been implicated in the development of neutrophil deficiency syndrome (Ambruso et al. 2000).

Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining paraffin sections with this antibody. Tris/EDTA buffer, pH9.0, is recommended for this purpose.
Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
