| Goat anti Human Noxa antibody recognizes human Noxa, a mitochondrial localised protein and member of the BH3-only proapoptotic protein family, which is up-regulated by p53, IFNbeta, phorbol esters, dsRNA and viruses, and acts as promoter of caspase and apoptosis activation. Noxa is a transcriptional target of p53, p73 and BH3-only proteins, and competes with, and displaces, the proapoptotic proteins BAK1, and BIM, from the antiapoptotioc protein MCL1 (Bcl-2-related protein EAT/mcl1), thereby influencing apoptosis versus cell survival. |

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
