Purified Myelin Proteolipid Protein is a peptide with the sequence CGGQKGRGSRGQH, representing amino acids 119-130 of human myelin proteolipid protein. An additional cysteine has been conjugated to the N-terminus.
Myelin proteolipid protein, the major myelin protein from the central nervous system, plays an important role in the formation and maintenance of the multilamellar structure of myelin.
