Western blotting analysis of human spleen lysate (35μg protein in RIPA buffer) probed using Goat anti Human moesin antibody (AHP1397) at 1.0μgml-1. Primary incubation was 1 hour. Signal was detected by chemiluminescence
Goat anti Human moesin antibody recognises human moesin (membrane-organizing extension spike protein), a member of the ezrin, radixin, moesin (ERM) protein family, which acts as a linker protein between the plasma membrane and the actin cytoskeleton, and as a signal transducer in responses involving cytoskeletal remodelling.
Moesin is localized to cytoplasmic projections (filopodia) which extend from the leading edge of migrating cells, which play a key role in cell movement, signaling and cell-cell recognition.
