Myelin Basic Protein (MBP) is one of the most abundant proteins of the myelin membrane in the central nervous system. It plays a role in nerve myelination. MBP may play a role in demyelinating diseases including Multiple Sclerosis.
MBP is a 'sticky' molecule. Glass vials should be used and care should be taken when diluting or transferring this product to avoid loss.
