Recombinant Human Keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) is a potent mitogen for keratinocytes and epithelial cells.
Activity is assessed by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by KGF-responsive BaF3 cells.
Purified recombinant protein expressed in E. coli - lyophilised
Reconstitute with 0.1 ml phosphate buffered saline pH7.0. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
