Rabbit anti Human FZD7 antibody recognizes human Frizzled-7 (FZD7), a multi-pass membrane protein of 574 amino acids belonging to the G-protein coupled receptor FZ/Smo family.
FZD7 is a receptor for Wnt signaling proteins. FZD7 down regulates the functions of the tumor suppressor gene APC and thereby enhances beta catenin-mediated signals.
FZD7 is highly expressed adult skeletal muscle and foetal kidney. High expression is observed in the foetal lung, placenta, adult heart and brain tissues. It is specifically expressed in squamous cell oesophageal carcinomas.

Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

Immunohistology - Paraffin(1)
This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
