AHP433 recognises the 45kD chain of a heterodimeric apoptosis related protein designated DFF (DNA fragmentation factor). DFF-45 is a substrate for Caspase-3, which cleaves the protein at two sites to generate factors that cause DNA fragmentation.
AHP433 recognises both intact DFF-45 and cleaved fragments at the C-terminus.
Purified IgG - liquid
Antisera to DFF-45 were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG prepared by ion exchange chromatography.
