| Rabbit anti Human CREB3L2 antibody recognizes CREB3L2, also known as B-ZIB transcription factor, BBF2 human homolog on chromosome 7, FUS/BBF2H7 protein, TCAG_1951439, basic transcription factor 2 and cAMP-responsive element-binding protein 3-like protein 2. The CREB3L2 gene encodes a member of the OASIS bZIP transcription factor family. Members of this family can dimerize but form homodimers only. The CREB3L2 protein is a transcriptional activator. Translocations between CREB3L2 on chromosome 7 and the gene fused in sarcoma on chromosome 16 can be found in some tumors. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for CREB3L2 (provided by RefSeq, Dec 2011). Rabbit anti CREB3L2 antibody detects a band of 57 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates. |
