Goat anti Human creatine phosphokinase MM antibody recognizes creatine phosphokinase, also known as creatine kinase (CK), is an enzyme expressed by various tissues and cell types. CK catalyses the conversion of creatine and consumes adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to create phosphocreatine and adenosine diphosphate (ADP).
In cells, the cytosolic CK enzymes consist of two subunits, which can be either B (brain type) or M (muscle type). There are three different isoenzymes: CKMM, CKBB and CKMB.
Goat anti Human Creatine Phosphokinase (MM) antibody recognizes the CKMM isoenzyme and was found to react ~50% with CKMB when tested in ELISA.
Purified IgG - liquid
Antisera to human creatine phosphokinase were raised by repeated immunisations of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography on protein G.

Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
