    • Synthetic Human Cerebellin is a sixteen amino acid peptide corresponding to full-length human cerebellin , a secreted peptide derived from cleavage of cerebellin-1, a 193 amino acid (including signal peptide). Cerebellin has neuromodulatory functions including stimulating release of norepinephrine and adrenocortical secretion (Uniprot: P23435).
    • Intended Use
    • Target Species
      Human
    • Product Form
      Purified synthetic peptide - lyophilised.
    • Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 0.1ml sterile distilled water
Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Bio-Rad recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. Quantity listed reflects amount of puified peptide and not total mass which would include TFA counterions and residual water.
    • Preparation
      Solid phase synthesis.
    • Preservative Stabilisers
      None present.
    • Peptide Sequence
      Ser-Gly-Ser-Ala-Lys-Val-Ala-Phe-Ser-Ala-Ile-Arg-Ser-Thr-Asn-His
    • Purity
Peptide content is approximately 72% of total mass.
Peptide purity is >99% by HPLC analysis
    • Approx. Protein Concentrations
Total protein concentration 1.0mg/ml after reconstitution.

      TFA salt.
    • Storage
Prior to reconstitution store at +4oC.
      After reconstitution store at -20oC.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
    • Shelf Life
12 months from date of reconstitution.
