Western blotting analysis of human colon lysate (35μg protein in RIPA buffer) probed with Goat anti Human CD318 antibody (AHP1567) at 1.0μgml-1. Primary incubation was 1 hour. Signal was detected by chemiluminescence.
Goat anti Human CD318 antibody recognises an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of isoform 1 of human CD318, otherwise known as CDCP1 (CUB domain-containing protein 1), a novel type I transmembrane protein expressed on the surface of haematopoietic stem cell subsets, epithelial cells and breast carcinoma, and up-regulated in metastatic lung and colorectal tumours.
Expression of CD318 on CD34+CD133+ leukaemic blasts from patients with AML (acute myeloid leukaemia) and CML (chronic myeloid leukaemia), suggesting a role for CD318 as a novel leukaemic diagnostic marker (Uhr 2013).
Purified IgG - liquid
Antiserum to human CD318 (CT) was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
