| Rabbit anti Human CD156c antibody recognizes human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 10, also known as ADAM-10, CDw156, Mammalian disintegrin-metalloprotease, CD156c or Kuzbanian protein homolog. CD156c is a 748 amino acid ~85 kDa type I, single pass transmembrane glycoprotein with a 19 aa signal peptide and adjacent 194 aa propeptide region yeilding a mature 535 aa protease. CD156c is a member of the mammalian ADAM family and is involved in the cleavage of TNF alpha, Notch and its ligand delta (Primakoff & Miles 2000). |

- Antisera to CD156c (CT) were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbit with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
